Make It Yours - a day of creative sewing on Saturday 28th October in Warsaw. All those who want to try their hand at sewing, learn new techniques and ways to create, talk to designers and sewing bloggers - JUKI invites you an open sewing workshop. The second edition of our sewing and design meeting is in answer to the growing popularity of home-made tailoring in Poland and across Europe. The event program includes meetings with experts, machine presentations, sewing workshops for children, and sewing eco-friendly backpacks with Washpappa. The workshops will be held by Joanka-z and Oulal - some of the best sewing bloggers in Poland there to help you. Fans of quilted patchwork will be able to take part in a course that shows the basics run by the Polish Patchwork Association. The highlight of the event will be a workshop run by the designers of RISK made in Warsaw. Participants will be able to see (what is normally) patent protected designs and you can cut and sew their elegant and feminine hooded sweatshirt or sport jackets. All in all it will be a fun day out for all, whether interested in improving your sewing skills or getting hands on with some patchwork.
