In this article we would like to focus ultrasonic and tape bonding technology to bring you closer to the operations, and models, so you could see potential in your production line.

Ultrasonic welding:
Basic elements activating ultrasonic possibilities are anvil wheel and sonotrode. A sonotrode vibrating causes mechanical stress on the fabrics when it comes to contact. This enables the pieces of fabric to be joined together exactly where the sonotrode meets the anvil. Anvils come in various of shapes which give you demanded pattern of seam.
An ultrasonic welding seam is flatter and less visible which makes it a favorite in sportswear and intimate garment industry. The structure of the fabric remains undamaged by needleholes, too.
Butt seam:
Two pieces of synthetic or semi-synthetic fabric are joined by an ultrasonic machine. Narrow cut&weld welding wheel option not only allows to join the two fabrics together but also removes the edge. This way we achieve a flat and narrow stitchless fragile seam.
It is possible to keep the flatness of the seam and make it stronger at the same time. Hot air taping machine needs to be used. Special reinforcing tape is applied on the seam to make it more durable, as well as waterproof and windproof.
Overlapping:
Jeux machine, with a built-in fabric edge trimmer, firmly and precisely places special double sided glue tape on the fabric’s edge. The operator removes the protective paper layer from the top of the tape to uncover the glue surface and join two pieces of fabric together. The edge of the second piece needs to be placed on the edge of the first piece, exactly where the tape is located.
Seam is ready but short process of inserting the seam into a heating press will solidify and makes it flatter.
Hemming:
Jeux machine, with a built-in fabric edge trimmer, firmly and precisely places special double sided glue tape on the fabric’s edge. The operator removes the protective paper layer from the top of the tape to uncover the glue surface. Fabric needs to be roll (hem) manually and press it through a dedicated machine. After the hemmed seam goes between the two rollers and is heated by hot air from the nozzle, the seam is firmly pressed.
Seam is ready but short process of inserting the seam into a heating press will solidify the seam and makes it flatter.

Binding:
The edge of the fabric can be cover with the tape with a use of a special binder. This element allows to fold the tape to be attached at the edge. Two rollers are pressing and heating the fabric and the tape and additionally special nozzle approaches and blows the hot air. High temperature releases glue functions of tape and allows it to be firmly attached to the edge.
Binding can be done in different widths of the tape and can be more or less stretchy, depending on the tape used.
Seam sealing:
Once you have a seam, either stitched or ultrasonic, you can reinforce it with specialized tape attached by the hot air. The nozzle blows the air activating gluing of the specialized sealing tape to cover the seam.
It makes ultrasonic and standard stitching reinforced, wind and waterproof.
When all processes are finished the quality can be checked with the testing machines.
Water tester:
Fabric is placed in machine with seam in the center. Water is released under pressure which enables to test tape bonding reinforcement on standard or ultrasonic seam.
Final touch is placing the logo. Heat presses are easy to operate so there is no need for additional training. The wide offer guarantees everyone will find a model that suits their needs.
Heat press label attaching:
Any size of labels can be put in adjustable label storage. Ready product or piece of fabric is place manually on the table where heat press takes the label and transfer it on dedicated place automatically.
